Storyline:
Deep in the solo journey in the Indian Ocean, an unnamed man (Redford) wakes up to find his 39 foot yacht taking on water after colliding with a shipping container left floating in the international , tional waters. The navigation zaÅ™ízeníma the disabled radio, a man unknowingly in the path of a violent storm. Despite his success in patching the hull breached his intuition and the power that belies its age, a man barely exists storm. Using a sextant and nautical charts draw his progress, he is forced to rely on ocean currents to transport him to the bar in hopes of hailing a ship to pass. But with the relentless sun, sharks circling his meager and dwindling supplies, always ready sailor quickly finds himself staring his mortality in the face.
