Storyline:
Set in Mississippi in 1960, Skeeter (Stone) is a southern society girl who returns to college to become a writer, but turns her friends lives and Mississippi town upside down in his life, decides to interview the black women taking care of prominent southern families. His friends! Tight-knit black community - Aibileen (Davis), Skeeter best friends housekeeper, is the first to open. Despite Skeeter life long friends, hanging the balance, she and Aibileen continue their collaboration and soon more women come forward to tell their stories, and that is, they have much to say. Along the way, unlikely friendship forged and a new sisterhood emerges, but not before all people, a thing or two to say themselves, they become unwittingly - and unwillingly caught up in that time.
